Data controller
JortegaWD (hereinafter "we" or "the company") is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through the website jortegawebdesign.com.
You can contact us at any time through the contact form on the site or by writing directly to jortegawebdesign@gmail.com.
Data we collect
We only collect data you voluntarily provide when completing the contact form: your name, email address, and the message you send us. We do not collect payment information — all transactions, if applicable, are handled through third-party processors.
Like most websites, we also record anonymous browsing data (pages visited, time on site, device and browser) for statistical purposes using tools such as Google Analytics. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Purpose of processing
Contact form data is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry, quotation request, or question, and to follow up on a project proposal if you authorize it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
Legal basis
We process your data under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Personal Data Protection Law) and Decree 1377 of 2013. For users in the European Union, processing is based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). For California residents, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
By submitting a message through the contact form, you give your free, prior, express, and informed consent for your data to be processed for the purposes described in this policy.
Your rights
As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to: access, update, and correct your personal information; request proof of the consent you gave; be informed of how your data has been used; withdraw consent and request deletion of your data at any time.
EU residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents may opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data).
To exercise any of these rights, write to jortegawebdesign@gmail.com. We will respond within 15 business days.
Cookies and tracking
This website may use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with content. These cookies are anonymous and do not collect personally identifiable information.
You can configure your browser to reject all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being set. Some site functionality may not work correctly without cookies enabled.
Data retention
We retain contact form data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically the duration of a project engagement plus one year for reference purposes.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by writing to jortegawebdesign@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 15 business days.
Policy updates
This privacy policy has been in effect since January 1, 2025. We reserve the right to update it at any time to reflect changes in our operations or applicable law. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
