The origin
Jortega is two people.
The name is our last name. Jesús Ortega has been building production software since 2013 — ERPs, SaaS platforms, e-commerce systems, and now AI automation agents for businesses in the US, Colombia, and Europe. Before JortegaWD, he built the backend infrastructure for multi-store retail chains handling real inventory, real payroll, and tax-compliant invoicing.
Juan Kamilo Ortega is a systems engineer who spent years watching enterprise software fail — not because of bad code, but because of misaligned incentives between agencies and clients. He runs operations and client delivery — the reason projects actually ship on time.
The agency was born from a shared conviction: that businesses in the US and beyond deserve the same technical quality as Silicon Valley startups — without paying international agency rates or depending on generic tools that ignore their business context.
